Luidsprekerkabel ShiverPeaks 06-21106 2,5 mm², 25 m, CCA, wit

ShiverPeaks 06-21106 speaker cable is a 25 m audio cable with a 2.5 mm² conductor cross-section and CCA (copper-clad aluminium) construction in white. It is designed for connecting speakers to amplifiers, receivers and AV systems. The cable offers a practical combination of conductivity and affordability for home audio installations, multiroom speaker layouts and DIY wiring where medium to long runs are required.

Advantages

The CCA construction provides lower weight compared with solid copper conductors while maintaining acceptable electrical performance for most domestic audio applications. The 2.5 mm² cross-section supports reliable current transfer for typical home speaker loads and longer cable runs. A 25 m length reduces the need for joins or extensions in larger rooms and multiroom setups, and the white outer sheath allows discrete routing along skirting boards or walls.

Suitable for

• Connecting passive speakers to amplifiers and receivers in home audio systems
• Multiroom audio installations where cable runs are moderate to long
• DIY speaker wiring and retrofit projects in domestic interiors
• Wall- or skirting-mounted cable routing where a white finish is preferred

Key specifications

• Conductor cross-section: 2.5 mm²
• Conductor type: copper-clad aluminium (CCA)
• Length: 25 m
• Colour: white outer sheath
• Stranding: fine-stranded for flexible routing

How to use

Strip the outer sheath and insulation from the conductor ends to expose an appropriate length of wire for your speaker terminals or connectors. Observe correct polarity when connecting positive and negative terminals to maintain proper phase between speakers. Route the cable along skirting boards, through conduits or behind furniture to minimize visible runs and protect the cable from mechanical damage. Avoid sharp bends and tight radii to prevent conductor stress. If longer runs or higher power levels are required, verify compatibility with your amplifier and speaker impedance to ensure acceptable performance.

Recommendations

For best long-term reliability, use secure terminations such as crimped banana plugs, spade terminals or properly tightened screw terminals. Keep speaker cable runs away from mains power cables to reduce potential interference, and test the system at moderate volume after installation to confirm correct polarity and connection integrity.
