Luidsprekerkabel PSSO 2x2,5 mm², XLR-stekker, 5 m, zwart

PSSO speaker cable with two 2.5 mm² conductors and XLR connectors, 5 meters long, black, is engineered for reliable audio signal and power transfer between amplifiers and loudspeakers. The cable is shielded and uses clearly separated positive and negative conductors to maintain correct polarity and minimise interference. Its 5 m length suits medium-distance connections in live sound, rehearsal rooms, studio setups and fixed installations.

Advantages

The cable combines a robust outer jacket with flexible internal conductors for long-lasting mechanical durability and easy handling during patching and routing. Shielding reduces hum and external noise, helping preserve signal clarity. XLR connectors provide secure mating and reliable contact, while the 2.5 mm² conductor cross-section supports higher current capacity compared with smaller gauge speaker leads.

How to use

Route the cable between the amplifier output and the speaker input, ensuring connectors are fully inserted and latched where applicable. Observe correct polarity by matching the positive and negative terminals on amplifier and speaker to maintain phase integrity. Avoid tight bends and kinks; secure the cable with appropriate clamps or ties to prevent movement-induced wear. For fixed installations, test the connection at low volume before full power-up.

Recommendations

For optimal longevity and signal quality, avoid running the cable in parallel with mains power lines for long distances and keep connector contacts clean and free of corrosion. Use strain relief at connector ends when installing in permanent setups, and periodically inspect insulation and connectors for damage.
