Luidsprekerkabel PSSO RE-15, 2×2,5 mm², lengte 1,5 m, zwart

PSSO RE-15 speaker cable with two conductors of 2.5 mm² cross-section and a length of 1.5 m in black is designed for reliable short-run connections between amplifiers, receivers and loudspeakers. The cable combines adequate conductor area for typical home audio loads with flexibility that simplifies routing in tight spaces or behind furniture. The jacket and conductor design prioritise low signal loss and secure contact at speaker terminals.

Advantages

The cable offers two 2.5 mm² conductors that provide improved current carrying capacity compared with thinner speaker wires, reducing voltage drop on short runs and supporting better bass response under moderate loads. Its 1.5 m length is suitable for near-field speaker placement and tidy installations, while the flexible black jacket ensures ease of handling and discreet appearance in most home environments.

How to use

Strip an appropriate length of the outer jacket and conductor insulation to expose bare wire for a secure connection to speaker and amplifier terminals. Twist or ferrule the conductor strands if required by the terminal type, and ensure polarity is maintained by matching the positive and negative markings on both ends. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends or pinching points; secure with cable ties or clips if needed to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For best results, use the PSSO RE-15 cable for runs up to 1.5 m between amplifier and speaker. Avoid running speaker cables parallel to mains power cables to reduce potential interference. If terminating with banana plugs or spade lugs, verify connector compatibility with your speaker and amplifier terminals and apply appropriate ferrules for a reliable mechanical and electrical connection.
