Luidsprekerkabel ShiverPeaks 06-180711, 1,5 mm² aderdoorsnede, 10 m lengte

ShiverPeaks 06-180711 speaker cable is a 10 m length audio lead with a 1.5 mm² conductor cross-section designed for connecting loudspeakers to amplifiers, receivers or audio processors. The cable uses a multi-strand conductor suitable for medium-power home audio and fixed install applications, providing reliable signal transfer over a 10-m run and straightforward termination for binding posts or banana plugs.

Advantages

The cable combines a 1.5 mm² conductor cross-section with a 10 m length to cover typical distances between audio components in domestic and installation environments. Its multi-strand construction allows for flexible routing and easier handling during installation. The product's straightforward compatibility with common speaker terminations makes it suitable for both new installations and upgrades of existing systems.

Suitable for

• Connecting passive loudspeakers to home stereo amplifiers or AV receivers over runs up to 10 m
• Fixed installations in rooms where medium-power audio distribution is required
• Replacement or upgrade of existing speaker leads when 1.5 mm² conductor size is appropriate

Key specifications

• Conductor cross-section: 1.5 mm²
• Length: 10 m
• Conductor type: multi-strand (flexible) conductor suitable for speaker connections
• Termination compatibility: binding posts, banana plugs or similar speaker connectors
• Application area: speaker connection for medium-power home audio and fixed installations

How to use

Measure the required run and cut the 10 m cable to the needed length if necessary. Strip back the outer insulation to expose the multi-strand conductor, taking care not to damage individual strands. Terminate each conductor end to speaker binding posts, banana plugs or the amplifier output terminals, ensuring correct polarity for left and right channels. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, heat sources and high-interference power cables for best signal integrity.

Recommendations

For typical home audio setups, use the full 1.5 mm² conductor for runs up to 10 m to maintain reliable signal transfer at medium power levels. If soldering terminals, ensure clean solder joints; when using crimp or screw terminals, verify a secure, conductor-only contact without stray strands.
