Luidsprekerkabel-verlenging ShiverPeaks PV4, 4 mm², 2-delige set, rood/zwart, 7,5 m

ShiverPeaks PV4 speaker cable extension set contains two 7.5 m leads (red and black) with a 4 mm² conductor cross-section, intended to extend speaker connections in home and small professional audio systems. The pair provides clearly marked polarity with red and black insulation and a standardized conductor gauge suitable for moderate power transfer and low-resistance signal paths over the supplied length.

Advantages

The two-piece set provides matched length and gauge for consistent channel balance. A 4 mm² conductor cross-section reduces resistance compared with thinner cables, helping to preserve signal quality between amplifier and speaker at typical listening distances. Color-coded insulation simplifies correct polarity connection, and the 7.5 m length offers flexible placement of speakers without requiring soldering or termination at the factory end points.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Extending speaker runs in living rooms and home theaters
• Connecting bookshelf or floor-standing speakers to a nearby amplifier or receiver
• Small professional audio setups where additional cable length is needed
• Temporary or permanent installations requiring clear polarity identification

Key specifications

• Conductor cross-section: 4 mm²
• Set composition: two leads (one red, one black)
• Length per lead: 7.5 m
• Intended use: speaker cable extension for amplifier-to-speaker connections

How to use

Strip a short section of insulation at each end and connect the cable to the amplifier and speaker terminals, observing polarity by matching red to positive and black to negative. If required, fit appropriate terminations such as banana plugs, spade lugs, or bare-wire connections depending on amplifier and speaker binding posts. Keep cable runs away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference and avoid tight bends to preserve conductor integrity.

Recommendations

For best results, use these extensions for speaker runs up to the provided length and pair them with similar gauge cables to maintain consistent impedance. When installing, secure the cables to prevent strain at connection points and check polarity after installation to ensure correct channel phasing.
