Luidsprekerkabel ShiverPeaks 06-181006 1,5 mm² 100 m

Speaker cable ShiverPeaks 06-181006 1.5 mm² 100 m is a 100-metre roll of audio cable designed for connecting loudspeakers and audio systems in residential and small commercial installations. The cable features a 1.5 mm² conductor cross-section and a multi-strand construction that supports reliable signal transmission from amplifier to speaker over continuous runs, wall routes or in-wall installation where a moderate gauge speaker cable is appropriate.

Advantages

This speaker cable provides a consistent conductor size across the full 100 m length, reducing the need for splices on extended runs. The multi-strand conductor construction offers flexibility for routing through conduits and around corners while maintaining electrical continuity. The cable is suitable for fixed wiring and flush-mount installations, enabling a clean, professional appearance for permanent speaker connections.

Suitable for

• Connecting home stereo or AV systems to wall- or shelf-mounted speakers
• Fixed in-wall or in-ceiling speaker installations in apartments and houses
• Small commercial audio setups such as meeting rooms, retail displays, or background music systems
• Long continuous runs where a moderate gauge (1.5 mm²) is sufficient

Key specifications

• Length: 100 m roll
• Conductor cross-section: 1.5 mm²
• Conductor type: multi-strand (fine strands for flexibility)
• Intended use: speaker/audio signal transmission
• Installation: suitable for fixed wiring, wall routing and in-wall use
• Colour: white

How to use

Plan the cable route from amplifier to speakers, allowing for additional length to accommodate bends and termination. Measure and cut the required length from the 100 m roll, strip the outer insulation and separate the conductor cores according to polarity markings. Terminate with appropriate speaker connectors or screw terminals, ensuring secure mechanical and electrical connections. Secure the cable along the route with clamps or cable clips and follow local building codes for in-wall installations.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep runs as short as practical and use the full 1.5 mm² conductor for each speaker run. Avoid running the speaker cable in parallel with mains power cables to reduce potential interference. When installing in-wall, confirm compliance with local fire and building regulations and use appropriate conduit or rated cable if required.
