Luidsprekerkabel ShiverPeaks 06-21506, 2,5 mm², 50 m, CCA, wit

Speaker cable ShiverPeaks 06-21506 is a 50 m roll of speaker wire with a conductor cross-section of 2.5 mm² and copper-clad aluminum (CCA) conductors. The cable features white insulation and is intended for fixed indoor audio installations such as home theatre and multiroom speaker runs. The 2.5 mm² conductor area provides a compromise between conductivity and reduced weight compared with pure copper conductors, making it suitable for longer speaker runs where CCA is acceptable.

Advantages

The ShiverPeaks 06-21506 speaker cable combines a 2.5 mm² cross-section with CCA conductors to reduce overall weight while maintaining electrical continuity for typical loudspeaker loads. The 50 m roll format simplifies long runs and reduces the need for splicing. White insulation provides a neutral appearance for indoor installations and can be routed along walls or inside conduits where a discreet finish is required.

Suitable for

• Fixed indoor speaker installations in homes and apartments
• Home theatre speaker runs and surround sound wiring
• Multiroom audio distribution where CCA conductors are acceptable
• Long-distance speaker connections where reduced cable weight is beneficial

Key specifications

• Conductor type: copper-clad aluminum (CCA)
• Conductor cross-section: 2.5 mm²
• Length: 50 m
• Insulation color: white
• Intended use: indoor speaker wiring, fixed installations

How to use

Cut the required length from the 50 m roll and strip the insulation to expose the conductors. Observe polarity markings when connecting to amplifier and speaker terminals to maintain correct phase. For best signal transfer, use secure, low-resistance terminations such as crimped banana plugs, spade connectors, or properly tightened screw terminals. When routing the cable, avoid tight bends and secure runs with appropriate clips or conduit to prevent mechanical damage.

Recommendations

Use this CCA cable for indoor speaker installations where budget and reduced weight are priorities and where the modest conductivity difference from pure copper is acceptable. For critical high-power or audiophile applications, consider comparing specifications with pure copper alternatives.
