Luidsprekerkabel PSSO RE-10 2x2,5 mm, 1 m, zwart

The PSSO RE-10 speaker cable 2x2.5 mm, 1 m in black is a short-length audio connection cable intended for linking loudspeakers to amplifiers, receivers or wall panels. It features two conductors with a cross-sectional area of 2.5 mm² each, providing a compact and low-profile cable suitable for home audio systems, on-wall installations and short runs where a reliable signal path and tidy appearance are required.

Advantages

This speaker cable offers a balanced combination of conductor size and flexibility for short-distance speaker connections. The 2.5 mm² conductors enable proper current carrying capacity for most household and small professional loudspeakers while maintaining a slim diameter for discreet routing. The black jacket reduces visual impact in typical AV setups and the 1 m length is convenient for connecting nearby components without excess cable.

How to use

Strip an appropriate length of the outer jacket and insulation from each conductor, taking care not to nick the copper strands. Connect the positive and negative conductors to the corresponding speaker and amplifier terminals ensuring correct polarity. For bare-wire connections, twist the strands tightly and secure under terminal clamps; for banana plugs or spade lugs, attach the chosen connector before final tightening. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it away from mains cable runs where possible to reduce interference.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this 1 m PSSO RE-10 cable for short-distance speaker runs; for longer distances choose a larger cross-section to minimise resistance. Verify polarity at both ends before powering the system and avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines to reduce the risk of hum and interference.
