Magnetische messenblok Westmark zwart ABS 380 mm breed

The Westmark Black magnetic strip knife block is a compact wall-mounted knife storage solution manufactured from durable ABS plastic. With a width of 380 mm, depth of 13 mm and height of 50 mm, it provides a low-profile mounting surface that secures metal blades via an internal magnetic strip. This accessory keeps knives visible and accessible while freeing counter and drawer space, and its black finish integrates with a variety of kitchen décors.

Advantages

The magnetic strip offers secure retention of steel knives without the need for slots or sheaths, reducing blade contact and wear. ABS construction provides impact resistance and easy surface cleaning. The slim profile and wall mounting option minimize countertop clutter and allow for flexible placement near prep areas. The design supports quick access and organized storage while maintaining a compact footprint.

Suitable for

• Storing chef, utility, paring and carving knives with magnetic-compatible blades
• Wall-mounted kitchen organization to save counter and drawer space
• Quick-access knife storage near food preparation and cooking zones

Key specifications

• Material: ABS plastic body with integrated magnetic strip
• Width: 380 mm
• Depth: 13 mm
• Height: 50 mm
• Finish: matte black
• Mounting: wall-mounted

How to use

Mount the magnetic strip knife block securely to a wall using appropriate screws and wall anchors for the wall type; ensure the mounting position keeps blades away from children and out of the main traffic path. After installation, place knives blade-first onto the magnetic surface so the magnet holds the blade flat against the strip. Position knives with points facing away from the user and avoid pressing directly on blade edges when removing or replacing to protect the magnet and the knife edge.

Recommendations

Clean the ABS surface with a soft cloth and mild detergent; avoid abrasive cleaners that may scratch the finish. Regularly check the mounting hardware for tightness. Do not use the strip for non-magnetic or ceramic knives, and avoid exposing the product to high heat or prolonged moisture to preserve both magnet strength and plastic integrity.
