The adhesive base is formulated for automotive surfaces, creating a reliable bond to glass and many dashboard materials without additional tools. How to use

Choose a clean, dry mounting location on the windshield or dashboard where the camera has an unobstructed view. Clean the surface thoroughly with an alcohol wipe or a mild cleaner and allow it to dry. Remove the protective film from the adhesive base, press the mount firmly against the surface and hold for several seconds to ensure adhesion. Attach the GARMIN Dash Cam 2024 Series to the magnetic plate until it seats securely. To remove, pull the camera away from the magnetic connection and, if necessary, heat the adhesive area slightly with a hairdryer to ease removal without damaging the surface.

Recommendations

For best adhesion, avoid mounting on textured or highly flexible dashboards; select flat, rigid areas or the windshield. Allow the adhesive to cure for the time indicated by the adhesive manufacturer before subjecting the mount to extended vibration or high temperatures. If relocating the mount, replace the adhesive pad with a new automotive-grade adhesive to maintain secure attachment.
