Marker fijne punt Edding 8900 beige

The Edding 8900 Beige marker features a fine tip that enables precise writing, drawing and detailing. Beige waterproof and lightfast ink provides subtle, durable colour suitable for notes, sketching and mixed-media artwork. Packaged as a single marker, this tool is designed for individual use and performs reliably on paper, board and many coated surfaces where a fine, neutral line is required.

Advantages

The fine tip produces consistent, narrow lines for accurate lettering and detailed illustrations. The waterproof formulation prevents smudging after drying and the lightfast pigments reduce fading from exposure to light. The neutral beige tone supports layering and colour blending without overpowering other hues, and the marker’s balanced barrel offers controlled handling for extended use.

Suitable for

• Detailed sketching and line work
• Hand lettering and annotations
• Mixed-media art and illustrations
• Professional notes and archival labelling
• Design mock-ups and colour studies

Key specifications

• Tip type: fine
• Ink colour: beige
• Ink properties: waterproof, lightfast
• Recommended surfaces: paper, board, coated surfaces
• Pack size: single marker

How to use

Remove the cap and hold the marker at a comfortable angle to produce a steady fine line. Allow freshly applied ink to dry fully before layering other media to avoid unintended smudging. For best results on coated or non-absorbent surfaces, test the marker on a small area first to confirm adhesion and drying time. Replace the cap securely after use to prevent the tip from drying out.

Recommendations

Store the marker horizontally to maintain even ink flow. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to preserve the lightfast properties of the ink. If using with water-based media, allow the marker ink to dry completely before applying washes or glazes to prevent lifting.
