Hangslot MASTERLOCK 51 mm gelamineerd stalen lichaam met stifttoncilinder

MASTERLOCK 51 mm laminated steel body padlock with pin tumbler mechanism provides keyed security for gates, sheds, lockers and storage units. The 51 mm laminated steel body combines layered steel plates for mechanical strength while the pin tumbler cylinder delivers conventional keyed operation. The padlock is intended for residential and light commercial applications where a robust, keyed lock is required.

Advantages

The laminated steel body design increases resistance to physical impact and bending. A hardened boron alloy shackle improves cut resistance compared with standard steel shackles. The lock uses a 4-pin cylinder and dual locking levers to reduce the risk of picking and prying attacks. The product is backed by a limited lifetime warranty from the manufacturer, providing long-term coverage for mechanical defects under the stated warranty terms.

Suitable for

• Securing garden gates and external doors
• Locking shed doors and outdoor storage units
• Protecting lockers and cabinets in homes or workplaces
• Temporary security for toolboxes and construction sites

Key specifications

• Body material: laminated steel
• Body width: 51 mm
• Shackle material: hardened boron alloy
• Locking mechanism: pin tumbler cylinder (4-pin)
• Locking style: keyed padlock with dual locking levers
• Intended use: residential and light commercial security

How to use

Insert the supplied key into the pin tumbler cylinder and turn to retract the locking levers; lift the shackle to open. To lock, close the shackle into the body until it engages and remove the key. For best operation keep the cylinder and shackle clean and free of debris. If the lock is used outdoors, occasional lubrication with a graphite-based or manufacturer-recommended lock lubricant will help maintain smooth key action.

Recommendations

Choose an installation location that minimizes direct exposure to salt spray or heavy weather when possible. Use the padlock with compatible hasps or latches designed for a 51 mm body to ensure full engagement of the shackle and proper security. Regularly inspect the shackle and body for signs of wear or deliberate damage and replace the lock if corrosion or deformation is present.
