Hangslot MASTERLOCK 9160EURD beugel van gehard staal 60 mm

The MASTERLOCK 9160EURD padlock features a hardened steel body paired with a 60 mm shackle to provide a durable mechanical barrier for gates, sheds, storage units and outdoor equipment. This solid padlock uses a key-operated locking mechanism designed for straightforward use in residential and light commercial settings. The construction emphasizes resistance to cutting and corrosion to maintain security performance in exposed environments.

Advantages

The hardened steel body and sizeable 60 mm shackle offer enhanced physical resistance compared with smaller general-purpose locks, while corrosion-resistant materials help preserve function outdoors. The key-operated mechanism provides simple, reliable operation without electronic components. The padlock’s robust build is intended to deliver consistent mechanical security in routine exterior applications.

Suitable for

• Securing garden and driveway gates
• Locking sheds and outdoor storage units
• Protecting bicycles or equipment left outdoors
• Light commercial use where a solid mechanical padlock is adequate

Key specifications

• Body material: hardened steel
• Shackle size: 60 mm
• Lock type: key-operated
• Intended environment: outdoor/residential and light commercial use

How to use

Insert the appropriate key into the keyway, turn to retract the locking mechanism, pass the 60 mm shackle through the hasp or item to be secured, and rotate the key to engage the lock. Confirm the shackle is fully seated and the key turns freely when locking and unlocking. Store spare keys separately and keep the keyway clear of debris; periodic operation helps prevent stiffness.

Recommendations

For sustained outdoor performance, mount the padlock where it is partially sheltered from direct exposure to driving rain when possible, and lubricate the keyway and shackle hinge periodically with a dry graphite or silicone-based lubricant. For high-risk locations or valuable assets consider combining this padlock with additional security measures such as reinforced hasps, alarmed enclosures, or CCTV.
