Mechanisch Full-size (100%) toetsenbord Keychron V6 Ultra 8K — QWERTY, Bluetooth, RGB-LED, zwart

The Keychron V6 Ultra 8K is a mechanical full-size (100%) keyboard in black with a standard QWERTY layout. It supports wired and wireless operation with Bluetooth 5.3 and 2.4 GHz connectivity, offers per-key RGB backlighting, hot-swappable MX-style switch compatibility, and pre-lubed Keychron Silk POM switches. Designed for extended use, the keyboard integrates gasket-mount construction, enhanced acoustic foam, OSA double-shot PBT keycaps and a powerful MCU that enables an 8000 Hz polling rate in wired and 2.4 GHz wireless modes. The device also supports online configuration through the Keychron Launcher web app and runs ZMK open-source firmware for transparency and advanced customization.

Advantages

The V6 Ultra 8K combines a full-size layout with compact ergonomics and a gasket mount for reduced acoustic resonance and softer keystrokes. Hot-swap sockets let you replace switches without soldering, while pre-lubed POM switches and acoustic foam contribute to a refined typing sound and feel. Long battery life (up to 660 hours with backlight off) and multi-protocol connectivity (USB wired, 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth 5.3 with multi-device pairing) deliver flexible use across workstations and mobile devices. Per-key RGB and Mix RGB lighting enable fine-grained illumination control, and Keychron Launcher provides browser-based key remapping and macro programming without installing software.

How to use

Connect the keyboard via the included USB cable for wired use or pair it with a computer, tablet or phone using Bluetooth 5.3 or the 2.4 GHz dongle for wireless operation. Use the system toggle to switch between macOS and Windows layouts and install the optional additional keycaps for your preferred platform if provided. To remap keys or create macros, open the Keychron Launcher web app in a compatible browser and configure layouts online; changes are applied through the keyboard firmware. Replace switches by pulling keycaps and using the hot-swap sockets—no soldering is required. Charge the keyboard as needed while continuing to use it during charging.

Recommendations

For quieter operation and longer switch life, keep the keyboard on a stable surface, avoid exposing it to liquids, and use the included acoustic foam and gasket features to minimize reverberation. When customizing key mappings or firmware, back up profiles in the Keychron Launcher and ensure your browser is up to date for full configurator compatibility.
