Metabo STB 18 L 90 decoupeerzaag solo — accu-decoupeerzaag, model STB 18 L 90 (alleen apparaat)

The Metabo STB 18 L 90 Stichsge solo — cordless jigsaw, model STB 18 L 90 (tool only) is a battery-powered handheld jigsaw intended for portable cutting tasks in woodworking and similar materials. Offered as a tool-only unit, this model accepts Metabo 18 V batteries (battery and charger not included) and delivers reciprocating blade motion suitable for straight and curved cuts. Its compact design and cordless operation make it practical for jobsite use, renovation work, and assembly tasks where mobility is required.

Advantages

The cordless design eliminates the need for a power cord, allowing unrestricted movement around workpieces and on sites without nearby outlets. Reciprocating blade action provides accurate cutting of wood, plywood and comparable sheet materials, while the jigsaw’s ergonomic body supports sustained use with reduced hand fatigue. As a tool-only package it integrates with existing Metabo 18 V battery systems, enabling quick battery swapping and compatibility within the same cordless ecosystem.

Suitable for

• Portable woodworking and on-site carpentry
• Cutting plywood, laminated boards and softwood panels
• Curved and shaped cuts for joinery and decorative work
• Renovation tasks where mobility and cordless operation are needed

Key specifications

• Power source: compatible with 18 V lithium-ion battery system (battery not included)
• Tool type: cordless handheld jigsaw with reciprocating blade motion
• Cutting capability: designed for wood, plywood and similar materials
• Design: compact, lightweight housing for portable use
• Control: variable speed and ergonomic grip for precision handling

How to use

Fit a compatible T-shank jigsaw blade securely in the tool’s blade holder according to the manufacturer’s blade-mounting instructions. Insert a charged Metabo 18 V battery until it clicks into place. Select an appropriate cutting speed for the material, mark the cutting line and position the base plate flat on the workpiece. Start the tool and guide it steadily along the marked line, allowing the blade to do the cutting without forcing. After use, remove the battery and blade before storage.

Recommendations

Use blades selected for the material and cut type to achieve optimal results; finer-tooth blades for smooth finishes and coarser blades for faster stock removal. Wear suitable eye and hearing protection and secure the workpiece before cutting. Because this is a tool-only kit, ensure you have a compatible Metabo 18 V battery and charger available prior to use.
