Haakse slijper Metabo WE 26-230 MVT Quick

The Metabo WE 26-230 MVT Quick angle grinder is equipped with a Metabo Marathon motor with patented dust protection for an extended service life. With a 2600 W motor, a maximum torque of 18 N⋅m and an idle speed of 6600 RPM, this machine is engineered for heavy-duty grinding and cutting tasks. The grinder accepts a 230 mm (23 cm) disc and weighs 6.3 kg. Integrated features such as Metabo VibraTech damping and a swivelling main handle improve handling and reduce vibration exposure.

Advantages

This angle grinder has multiple safety and convenience features including a Metabo safety switch to prevent unintentional start-up, restart protection after power interruptions, and electronic safety shutdown to reduce kickback when the disc stops unexpectedly. Starting current limitation prevents actuation of the lock at start-up, and an LED indicates triggered restart protection or overheating. Tool-free disc change is possible via Metabo Quick quick-locking nut, and the guard is twist-proof and adjustable without tools. Auto-stop carbon brushes protect the motor during service.

Suitable for

Mount the side handle in one of three available positions and adjust the tool-free guard to the required orientation. Switch on the grinder using the safety switch; the restart protection prevents unintentional start after a power loss. During work, hold the swivelling main handle for improved control and use the integrated Metabo VibraTech damping to reduce vibration transfer to the operator.

Recommendations

Use protective equipment including eye, hearing and hand protection. Select discs appropriate for the material and task, observe the grinder’s maximum disc diameter of 230 mm, and allow the motor to cool if the LED indicates overheating or if restart protection is triggered.
