Netwerkkabel BTR NETCOM Cat.6 AWG 26/7 S/FTP RJ-45 5 m

The BTR NETCOM Cat.6 AWG 26/7 S/FTP RJ-45 5m is a fully shielded Category 6 patch cable with a 5‑metre PUR outer sheath and shielded RJ45 connectors. It provides 1:1 pin assignment and meets Class E requirements to ISO/IEC 11801 Ed.2.2:2011-09 and DIN EN 50173-1:2011-09. The cable is supplied in yellow with a grey connector; cable colors may vary and other lengths are available.

Advantages

Fully shielded S/FTP construction reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk for stable high‑speed data transmission. AWG 26/7 stranded conductors offer flexibility and durability for patching and frequent handling. The PUR sheath provides mechanical resistance and increased cable longevity compared with standard PVC jackets. Compliance with international Class E standards ensures compatibility with modern Ethernet equipment.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet and other Class E network installations
• Industrial and office environments requiring enhanced EMI protection
• Patch panels, switches and active network devices
• Temporary or permanent cable runs where visible identification is needed

How to use

Connect the RJ45 ends to compatible Ethernet ports on network devices, ensuring shielded connectors are properly mated to grounded shielded ports when available. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; the PUR sheath tolerates industrial environments but avoid excessive heat sources. Verify link status on connected devices after installation and replace the cable if visible damage occurs.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use with shielded network equipment and ensure proper grounding of the cable shields. Choose appropriate cable length for the installation to minimise excess slack and avoid running parallel to high‑power electrical lines to reduce potential interference.
