Patchpaneel 1U BTR METZ CONNECT 150255BA24-E met SC-aansluitingen, rackmontage 482,6×44,5×242,5 mm

BTR METZ CONNECT 150255BA24-E is a 1U rack-mount patch panel outfitted with SC connectors for fiber-optic terminations. Designed for installation in a standard 19" rack, the unit provides a compact footprint of 482.6 × 44.5 × 242.5 mm and is intended to organize and manage fiber links in data centers, telecom rooms and network cabinets. The panel supports fixed SC ports and offers a neat, accessible front for connector access and cable routing.

Advantages

The 1U BTR METZ CONNECT panel delivers space-efficient fiber termination with a consistent mechanical layout compatible with 19" racks. SC connectors ensure stable, repeatable connections and straightforward patching. The panel's dimensions and rack-mount form factor simplify integration into existing rack infrastructure while providing orderly cable management and access for maintenance tasks.

Suitable for

• Data center fiber patching and distribution
• Telecom central offices and equipment rooms
• Network cabinets in enterprise and campus environments
• Fiber backbone and horizontal cabling terminations

Key specifications

• Form factor: 1U rack-mount panel for 19" racks
• Connector type: SC duplex ports for fiber connections
• External dimensions (W×H×D): 482.6 × 44.5 × 242.5 mm
• Mounting: front rack ears for standard 19" installation
• Usage: passive fiber patching and termination

How to use

Mount the patch panel into a standard 19" rack using the front mounting ears and appropriate rack hardware. Route fiber cables into the rear of the panel and terminate into the SC connector ports according to established fiber handling and polishing procedures or by installing pre-terminated pigtails where applicable. Label ports as required for network documentation, and use cable ties or organizers to secure incoming and outgoing fiber runs to minimize strain and maintain bend radius.

Recommendations

Ensure installation follows EIA/TIA and manufacturer guidelines for rack equipment and fiber handling. Maintain minimum bend radius for fiber cables, use dust caps on unused SC ports, and perform optical loss testing after termination to verify acceptable attenuation values prior to putting links into service.
