Microconnect B-UTP601O Netwerkkabel oranje 1 m Cat6 U/UTP (UTP)

The Microconnect B-UTP601O is a 1 m orange Cat6 networking cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, designed to connect switches, modems, routers and wall outlets or patch panels. It conforms to the Cat6 standard with testing up to 250 MHz and is backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5. The cable has U/UTP construction, supports data rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and features latch protection to reduce the risk of connector damage during installation in tight spaces.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable provides tested performance up to 250 MHz and backward compatibility with earlier Ethernet standards, ensuring reliable high-speed connections. The U/UTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors make it suitable for varied network devices, while the built-in latch protection helps prevent connector breakage during installation. Its 1 m length and bright orange colour simplify identification and short-distance patching in home or small office environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers or modems to patch panels or wall outlets
• Short-distance patching in home networks and small offices
• Connecting networked entertainment devices (smart TVs, media players)
• Temporary or permanent links where a 1 m cable is appropriate

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port on your devices (switch, router, modem or wall outlet/patch panel). Ensure connectors click into place using the latch protection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension. For optimal performance, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic interference sources and maintain the recommended bend radius for Cat6 cables.

Recommendations

Use this 1 m Cat6 cable for short, visible connections where easy identification is useful; replace if connector damage occurs or when longer runs are required to meet network layout needs.
