Microconnect B-UTP615SOUT Netwerkkabel zwart 15 m Cat6 U/UTP (UTP)

The Microconnect B-UTP615SOUT RJ-45 Cat6 15 m Black is an outdoor-rated Cat6 patch cable designed for reliable network connections in external environments. It supports high-speed data transfer up to 10000 Mbit/s and is tested to 250 MHz, offering backward compatibility with Cat5e and Cat5 infrastructure. The cable has RJ-45 connectors on both ends and comes in a 15 m length with a black outer jacket.

Advantages

This Cat6 outdoor cable features a double polyethylene (PE) outer jacket that increases resistance to water and UV radiation, making it suitable for facades, gardens, camping sites and other outdoor installations. The cable is manufactured with strain-relief boots to protect the RJ-45 connectors during installation in tight spaces. It meets Cat6 performance (tested to 250 MHz) and maintains compatibility with previous standards.

Suitable for

• Connecting surveillance cameras and outdoor PoE devices
• Network runs along building facades and exterior walls
• Temporary or semi-permanent installations at campsites and outdoor events
• Garden and yard network connections

For outdoor runs, ensure connectors and any junctions are protected from direct water exposure and mounted with appropriate outdoor-rated enclosures or sealants. Avoid tight bending radii and excessive pulling force during installation.

Recommendations

Use the cable for outdoor and exposed installations where water and UV resistance are required. For long-term outdoor deployments, protect terminations with weatherproof boxes and verify PoE device power requirements to ensure compatibility.
