MicroConnect CONB85 trekontlasting voor Cat7-kabel tot 8,5 mm, grijs

Strain relief boots for Cat7 cables, grey finish, compatible with cables up to 8.5 mm diameter. Supplied in a pack of 50 pieces, these boots protect the cable jacket at the connector end and reduce strain on the cable and contact points.

Advantages

These strain relief boots help prevent bending and damage at the connector, extend the lifetime of network cables, and provide a neat, uniform appearance. The boots are simple to install and fit standard Cat7 cable jackets up to 8.5 mm in diameter.

Suitable for

• Installing or repairing Cat7 Ethernet cables
• Cable assemblies where connector strain relief is required
• Network infrastructure in home, office, or server cabinet environments
• Bulk cable preparation and patch panel terminations

Key specifications

• Compatible cable type: Cat7 Ethernet
• Maximum cable diameter: 8.5 mm
• Colour: Grey
• Quantity: 50 pieces per pack

How to use

Slide the boot over the cable before fitting the connector. After crimping or assembling the RJ45 connector, position the boot over the connector body so it covers the jacket-to-connector junction and provides mechanical support. Ensure the boot's inner diameter matches the cable jacket to achieve proper strain relief.

Recommendations

For best results, use these boots with cables and connectors within the specified diameter range and avoid excessive pulling or bending at the connector interface.
