Kabeltule ACT RJ45 gele tule voor 6,5-mm-kabel

The ACT RJ45 yellow boot for 6.5 mm cable provides protective covering and strain relief for RJ-45 connectors used in Ethernet and network cabling. Made to fit cables with a 6.5 mm outer diameter, the boot helps prevent bending, kinking and connector damage while improving cable retention. Supplied in a pack of 25 pieces and finished in a high-visibility yellow, it is suitable for organized patch panels, data cabinets and field installations where color coding simplifies identification.

Advantages

The soft yet resilient material shields the RJ-45 connector’s latch and boot area from mechanical wear while extending the useful life of the cable assembly. Its snug fit around 6.5 mm cables delivers strain relief at the connector junction and reduces the likelihood of accidental disconnection. The yellow colour increases visibility in crowded cable runs and helps with fast visual identification during installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Ethernet patch cables with 6.5 mm outer diameter
• Structured cabling in server rooms and data centres
• Field installation and on-site network repairs
• Colour-coded cable management and labeling
• DIY networking projects and small office setups

Key specifications

• Compatible cable outer diameter: 6.5 mm
• Intended connector type: RJ-45
• Colour: yellow for high visibility
• Function: strain relief and connector protection
• Pack quantity: 25 pieces

How to use

Slide the boot onto the cable before terminating the RJ-45 plug; ensure the narrower end faces the connector so the boot can seat correctly against the plug body. After crimping the RJ-45 connector, push the boot forward until it covers the connector latch area and sits flush with the cable jacket. Check that the boot provides adequate strain relief and does not obstruct connector insertion into patch panels or sockets.

Recommendations

Use boots with the correct cable diameter to ensure proper strain relief; avoid forcing boots on cables significantly larger or smaller than 6.5 mm. When using colour coding, maintain a consistent scheme across racks and documentation to aid troubleshooting and inventory.
