Microconnect Premium Optic HDMI-kabel 25 m

The MicroConnect Premium Optic HDMI Cable 25m is an active hybrid HDMI 2.0 cable that combines fiber optic and copper cores to transmit high-definition video and audio over long distances up to 25 meters without signal degradation. It supports resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 pixels, a data throughput of 18 Gbit/s, 3D formats and Audio Return Channel (ARC). The cable is lightweight, flexible and has an ultra-small bend radius, with gold-plated HDMI Type A connectors for improved contact and reduced corrosion.

Advantages

This active optical cable maintains stable high-bandwidth transmission over long runs thanks to its mixed fiber-and-copper construction, minimising data loss and interference. Its slim, flexible design and small bend radius simplify routing in tight installations. Gold-plated HDMI Type A connectors provide reliable contact and resist corrosion, while support for HDMI 2.0 features (4K@60Hz equivalent resolution, 18 Gbit/s, 3D, ARC) ensures compatibility with modern AV equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs, projectors and AV receivers in home cinema setups
• Linking media players or set-top boxes to displays over longer cable runs
• Professional AV installations in conference rooms, lecture halls and digital signage
• Environments where reduced interference and stable 4K transmission are required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 25 m
• Standard: HDMI 2.0
• Maximum resolution: 4096 x 2160 pixels
• Data rate: up to 18 Gbit/s
• Connectors: HDMI Type A (Standard) – gold-plated
• Construction: hybrid fiber optic and copper cores (active optical cable)
• Weight: 0.968 kg
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A connector to the source device (PC, media player, set-top box) and the other HDMI Type A connector to the display device (TV, projector, monitor). Ensure connectors are fully inserted and secure. The cable is active — no external power supply is required when used with compatible HDMI ports. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension to preserve the internal fiber and to maintain optimal performance.

Recommendations

For reliable long-distance performance, avoid tight coils and maintain a bend radius larger than the cable's minimum; keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources for best signal integrity. Verify source and display support HDMI 2.0 features to utilise full 4K/18 Gbit/s capability.
