Microfoon-windkap Omnitronic 6000621N, zwart, voor microfoonkoppen Ø40–50 mm

Omnitronic 6000621N is a black microphone windshield designed for microphone heads with diameters of 40–50 mm. It reduces wind and breath noise during outdoor recordings and live performances while protecting the microphone capsule from moisture and dust. The windshield is shaped to fit over standard handheld and clip-on microphone heads, providing improved vocal clarity without significantly altering the natural sound for speech and singing.

Advantages

The soft foam construction offers consistent wind attenuation and absorbs plosive sounds from close vocal techniques. Its elastic fit and compressible material make mounting and removal quick and secure, and the black finish blends with most microphone designs. The windshield provides physical protection for the capsule against dust and light moisture while maintaining transparency in the mid and high frequency ranges to preserve intelligibility.

How to use

Stretch the windshield gently over the microphone head until it sits evenly around the capsule and grille. Ensure the foam covers the entire grille area and does not obstruct microphone controls or switches. For best performance, position the microphone as usual for the application and check sound levels before recording or performing. Remove the windshield by pulling it off evenly to avoid tearing the foam.

Recommendations

For optimal durability and sound, avoid exposing the windshield to prolonged direct sunlight or heavy rain. Clean with a damp cloth and allow to dry completely before reuse; avoid solvents or aggressive cleaning agents. Replace the foam if it becomes torn, compressed, or loses acoustic properties.
