Midland Albrecht Tectalk Duo PMR446 + Freenet portofoon dubbelpack oranje IP56 29149

Unlike single-standard walkie-talkies that lock you into one frequency band, the Midland Albrecht Tectalk Duo gives you both PMR446 and Freenet in a single rugged handheld. This orange twin pack is built for teams who need reliable short-range communication in wet or dusty conditions, with an IP56 rating that shrugs off rain and splashes. The backlit LCD and simple menu make channel changes quick, while the USB-C charging keeps both radios ready without hunting for proprietary cables.

Highlights

• Dual radio standard: PMR446 (16 channels) and Freenet (6 channels) in one device
• IP56 weather protection – resistant to dust and powerful water jets
• 38 CTCSS tones and 83 DCS codes for interference-free group calls
• VOX hands-free operation, scan function, and roger beep
• Backlit LCD display and keypad lock for easy use in any light
• USB-C charging with included Li-Ion 1200 mAh batteries

In daily use

The Tectalk Duo feels solid in the hand and the orange shell is easy to spot in a toolbox or on a hiking trail. Switching between PMR446 and Freenet is straightforward via the menu, and the backlit display remains readable even in direct sunlight. The VOX function lets you talk without pressing the PTT button – useful when both hands are busy. The keypad lock prevents accidental channel changes, and the roger beep confirms your transmission has ended. Charging is simple with the included USB-C cable, and the battery level indicator on the display tells you when it is time to recharge.
