Hoekmeter Möbius+Ruppert 723170040 halve cirkel rood transparant

The Möbius+Ruppert 723170040 Half-circle Red Transparent protractor is a precision angle-measurement tool made from durable polystyrene. At 140 mm across, the transparent red body provides clear visibility of markings while remaining lightweight and resistant to normal classroom and office use. Graduations are printed for standard degree measurement across the semicircle profile, enabling accurate layout, drawing and inspection of angles in technical and educational tasks.

Advantages

This half-circle protractor combines rigid polystyrene construction with a transparent finish that reduces parallax when reading angles. Its compact 140 mm size offers a balance between portability and usable scale, and the red tint improves contrast on both light and dark work surfaces. The molded edge and clearly marked degree scale support repeatable measurements and straightforward alignment with drawing instruments.

Suitable for

• School geometry lessons and student exercises
• Technical drawing and drafting tasks
• Carpentry layout and simple angle checks
• Hobby projects such as model making and crafts

Key specifications

• Shape: semicircular protractor
• Material: polystyrene
• Overall length (diameter/straight edge): 140 mm
• Color/finish: transparent red
• Scale: degree graduations across 180°
• Weight: lightweight, suitable for handheld use

How to use

Place the flat edge of the protractor along the baseline of the angle to be measured, aligning the central origin mark with the vertex. Read the degree value where the other side of the angle intersects the printed scale. For drawing an angle, mark the required degree on the scale and draw a line from the vertex through that mark. Use the transparent body to position the tool precisely over existing lines and reference points.

Recommendations

Store the protractor flat or in a protective sleeve to avoid bending and scratching. Clean with a soft, damp cloth; avoid solvents that can damage polystyrene. For higher-precision engineering tasks, verify measurements with calibrated instruments.
