Monitor VIEWSONIC VG3419C-2 – ultrawide curved 34 inch, 21:9 beeldverhouding, VA-paneel

VIEWSONIC VG3419C-2 is a 34-inch ultrawide curved monitor with a 21:9 aspect ratio and a VA panel designed for productivity and multimedia tasks. The curved 34" screen increases horizontal workspace, enabling side-by-side windows, extended timelines in video editing and expanded spreadsheets. The monitor's VA panel provides high contrast and deep blacks suitable for mixed office and entertainment use while maintaining a compact vertical footprint compared with dual-monitor setups.

Advantages

The ultrawide 21:9 format offers more horizontal screen area than standard 16:9 monitors, reducing the need for window switching and improving visibility of long documents and timelines. The 34-inch curved display helps maintain consistent viewing distance across the screen, which can reduce eye strain during extended sessions. VA panel technology delivers strong contrast and good color depth for darker scenes, while the curved design enhances immersion for video playback and multitasking. The single-panel ultrawide form factor simplifies cable management and desk layout compared with multiple monitors.

Suitable for

• Office work with multiple side-by-side windows and large spreadsheets
• Multimedia consumption, movie playback and streaming
• Content creation workflows such as video editing and timeline arrangement
• General multitasking and productivity-focused home or office setups

Key specifications

• Display size: 34 inches (diagonal)
• Aspect ratio: 21:9 ultrawide
• Panel type: VA (Vertical Alignment)
• Curvature: curved screen designed for wider field of view
• Typical use orientation: landscape, single ultrawide screen for multitasking

How to use

Connect the monitor to your computer using the supported video input (check your graphics output for compatible DisplayPort or HDMI connections) and select the ultrawide resolution in your operating system display settings. Arrange application windows side-by-side or use window management tools to split the screen for separate workflows. Adjust brightness, contrast and color settings from the on-screen display to match your ambient lighting and content type. For video editing or timeline work, increase horizontal workspace by placing timelines and preview windows across the wide screen.

Recommendations

Place the monitor at a comfortable viewing distance where the curvature corresponds to your natural field of view; this helps reduce eye movement across the panel. For prolonged office use, enable a sensible brightness and use software or ambient light adjustments to minimise eye fatigue. Use single-cable connections where possible and position the display centrally on the desk to take full advantage of the ultrawide workspace.
