MSI MAG 245F X24 computermonitor 60,5 cm (23,8 inch) 1920 x 1080 pixel Full HD LCD zwart

The MSI MAG 245F X24 is a 23.8-inch (60.5 cm) Full HD (1920 x 1080) Rapid IPS LCD monitor designed for responsive gaming, multimedia and general desktop use. The display offers a 240 Hz refresh rate and a 0.5 ms (GtG, Min.) response time to reduce motion blur and improve clarity for fast-moving content. With a 16:9 aspect ratio, 178°/178° wide viewing angles, 300 cd/m² typical brightness and a 1000:1 contrast ratio, the monitor provides balanced color reproduction and consistent viewing performance. The flat black chassis supports VESA mounting and includes Adaptive Sync and HDR Ready capabilities for improved visual smoothness and enhanced shadow/detail rendering.

Advantages

The Rapid IPS panel delivers very fast pixel response and accurate color performance suitable for competitive and casual gaming. A 240 Hz refresh rate combined with Adaptive Sync minimizes tearing and stutter when paired with a compatible GPU. The monitor is engineered for durability and heat dissipation consistent with MSI's MAG series, and its flicker-free and reduced blue light features help lower eye strain during extended sessions. VESA mounting provides flexible placement options for multi-monitor setups or ergonomic positioning.

Suitable for

• Competitive FPS and fast-paced multiplayer games
• First-person RPG and action titles requiring quick response
• Flight and racing simulators where frame clarity matters
• General office work, web browsing and multimedia playback

How to use

Mount the monitor on a compatible VESA arm or stand or place it on a stable desk surface. Connect to a PC, console, or other video source using the recommended video cable for your system to achieve the highest available refresh rate; ensure your graphics card settings and drivers are configured to output at 240 Hz if supported. Enable Adaptive Sync in both the monitor OSD and your GPU control panel to reduce screen tearing. Use the OSD menu to adjust brightness, contrast, color temperature and reduce blue light according to viewing conditions. For HDR content, enable HDR Ready features in the monitor menu and in the operating system or source device when applicable.

Recommendations

To maintain image quality and reduce eye fatigue, set a comfortable viewing distance (typically about an arm's length), use flicker-free and less blue light modes for long sessions, and ensure proper room lighting. For competitive play, verify your GPU and cable can support 240 Hz at Full HD, and enable Adaptive Sync to achieve the smoothest possible frame delivery.
