MSI MAG 272QPW QD-OLED X28 Computermonitor 67,3 cm (26,5 inch) 2560 x 1440 Pixel Wide Quad HD Wit

The MSI MAG 272QPW QD-OLED X28 is a 26.5" gaming monitor with a Wide Quad HD (2560 x 1440) QD-OLED panel, designed to deliver high-contrast images, fast response and wide viewing angles. It features a 280 Hz refresh rate, an extremely low 0.03 ms (GtG) response time, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification and VESA ClearMR 15000 for reduced motion blur. The monitor includes MSI OLED Care 2.0 to lower the risk of OLED burn-in and offers HDMI 2.1 connectivity with 48 Gbps bandwidth, 120 Hz support, VRR and ALLM for console compatibility. The MAG series emphasizes durable construction, efficient heat dissipation and a 3-year warranty on the OLED panel that includes protection against burn-in.

Advantages

The monitor combines a third-generation QD-OLED panel with a sub-pixel layout that improves sharpness and text clarity while providing QD Premium Color with Delta E≤2 for accurate colour reproduction. High dynamic range capability (DisplayHDR True Black 400) and VESA ClearMR 15000 certification ensure clear HDR visuals and minimized motion artefacts. OLED Care 2.0 includes Pixel Shift, Panel Protect and Static Screen Detection to reduce image retention risk. Fast 280 Hz refresh rate and 0.03 ms response time support competitive gaming and fast-moving scenes.

How to use

Mount the monitor on a compatible desk stand or VESA mount and connect your PC or console via HDMI 2.1 or the USB-C downstream port as required. In system settings or the monitor OSD, select the native 2560 x 1440 resolution and set the refresh rate to 280 Hz for PC use or 120 Hz for compatible consoles. Enable VRR and ALLM on both the source device and the monitor for reduced screen tearing and automatic low-latency mode. Use the monitor’s OSD to activate MSI OLED Care 2.0 features (Pixel Shift, Panel Protect, Static Screen Detection) to help minimise static-image retention.

Recommendations

To reduce the likelihood of OLED burn-in, avoid leaving static high-contrast images on screen for extended periods, use screen savers or automatic sleep modes, and enable MSI OLED Care 2.0 protection features. For console play, choose HDMI 2.1 with 48 Gbps and 120 Hz support when available; for competitive PC gaming prefer DisplayPort-equivalent high-refresh connections and set the system to the panel’s native resolution and refresh rate.
