Netwerkkabel Goobay RJ-45 CAT7 10m groen S/FTP (S-STP)

The Goobay RJ-45 CAT7 10m networking cable in green is a slim, molded patch cable designed for high-performance wired connections. It uses S/FTP (S‑STP) construction with individually foil‑shielded pairs (PIMF) and an overall braided outer shield to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity. The cable follows the EIA/TIA 568 pair sequence and is tested to Cat 7 standards up to 600 MHz. Connectors are 50 µ gold plated and the molded slim line strain relief includes a length indication for easy identification.

Advantages

The S/FTP design (pairs in metal foil plus overall braid) offers improved protection against crosstalk and external noise compared with unshielded cables. Gold‑plated 50 µ contacts ensure reliable contact resistance and corrosion resistance over time. The slim molded strain relief provides secure connector support while remaining compatible with patch panels, and the printed length on the strain relief simplifies cable management.

Suitable for

• High‑speed Ethernet networks (up to Cat 7 applications)
• Data centers, server rooms and office network cabling
• Home networks requiring low interference and stable connections
• Patch panels and structured cabling installations

Key specifications

• Cable type: S/FTP (S‑STP), pairs in metal foil (PIMF) with braided outer shield
• Length: 10 m
• Connectors: RJ‑45 to RJ‑45, 50 µ gold plated contacts
• Pair sequence: EIA/TIA 568
• Rated/Class: Cat 7, tested up to 600 MHz
• Colour: Green
• Moulded slim line strain relief with length indication

How to use

Plug one RJ‑45 connector into your network device (switch, router, patch panel or network card) and the other into the corresponding port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and keep it away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference when possible. The printed length on the strain relief helps identify cable runs in bundled installations.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat 7 S/FTP cable in shielded environments or where external interference is present. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the strain relief; secure cables with Velcro straps rather than metal clips to prevent damaging the braid or jacket.
