Multifunctionele inkjetprinter Epson EcoTank L8180 — A3+, kleur, 5760x1440 DPI, 32 ppm, duplex, Wi‑Fi, Ethernet

The Epson EcoTank L8180 is a multifunction inkjet printer designed for A3+ colour output with a maximum optical resolution of 5760 x 1440 dpi. It combines colour printing and colour scanning into a compact unit weighing 11.1 kg, supporting duplex print, wired Ethernet and Wi‑Fi connectivity, and direct printing workflows. The device targets offices and creative workspaces that require large-format colour documents, photographic-quality prints and reliable networked operation.

Advantages

The EcoTank L8180 provides high-resolution colour printing suitable for detailed graphics and photos, while maintaining relatively fast throughput of up to 32 pages per minute for A4/US Letter in normal quality. Integrated colour scanning with optical resolution up to 1200 x 4800 dpi enables accurate digitisation of originals. Built-in duplex printing reduces manual handling for two-sided documents, and both Wi‑Fi and Ethernet connections enable shared use on local networks and direct printing from compatible devices.

Suitable for

• Office environments producing A4 and A3+ colour documents
• Creative studios and designers needing high-resolution colour proofs and photo prints
• Small workgroups requiring networked printing via Wi‑Fi or Ethernet
• Departments that benefit from automatic duplex printing to save paper handling time

For scanning, place originals on the scanner glass or use the document feeder if available, select colour scanning and set the desired optical resolution through the scanning application.

Recommendations

When producing high-resolution colour prints or photographs, allow prints to dry before stacking and use the driver’s high-quality or photo-printing mode. For networked environments, register the device with a fixed IP address if stable Ethernet access is needed. Regularly check ink tank levels and perform manufacturer-recommended maintenance to ensure consistent print quality.
