Multifunctionele printer Epson EcoTank L6490 — inkjet kleur, 4800x1200 dpi, 37 ppm, A4 duplex, Wi‑Fi, Ethernet

The Epson EcoTank L6490 is a multifunction inkjet device designed for colour printing, scanning and faxing in home-office and small office environments. It delivers a maximum print resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi and a rated black print speed of up to 37 ppm (A4, normal). The scanner supports colour scanning with an optical resolution of up to 1200 x 2400 dpi. Built-in A4 duplex printing, Wi‑Fi and Ethernet connectivity enable flexible placement and networked use while low-running-cost refillable ink tanks help reduce ongoing supply expenses.

Advantages

The EcoTank L6490 combines high-resolution colour output with an integrated refillable ink system to lower cost per page compared with cartridge-based models. Fast black printing at up to 37 ppm and A4 duplex capability increase productivity for document-heavy tasks. Colour scanning at 1200 x 2400 dpi supports accurate digitisation of documents and images. Wired and wireless networking options make it compatible with shared office setups and remote printing workflows. The unit’s two-tone housing and compact footprint help it fit into small workspaces.

Suitable for

• Home offices and small businesses requiring economical colour printing
• Departments that need A4 duplex documents such as reports and invoices
• Users who scan photographs or documents at higher optical resolution
• Workgroups that share a printer over Wi‑Fi or Ethernet

Recommendations

To maintain print quality and reliability, use genuine refill inks compatible with the EcoTank system, keep paper stored in a dry environment, and perform routine cleaning cycles as indicated by the device software. For high-volume black text jobs, enable draft or fast mode when appropriate to increase throughput and reduce ink consumption. When scanning photos or detailed graphics, select the higher optical resolution settings to preserve detail.
