Netwerkkabel S/CONN 08-26755 zwart 75 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-26755 Black 75 m Cat6a S/FTP is a 75-meter, Cat6a-grade network cable engineered for high-speed structured cabling. The cable uses S/FTP shielding (overall braid with individually shielded pairs) to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, and it is terminated with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts to maintain reliable electrical contact and improved wear resistance. The black jacket provides a discreet appearance suitable for both visible runs and concealed installations in office, data center, or home network environments.

Advantages

The cable supports higher bandwidth and data rates characteristic of Cat6a standards, enabling stable 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance over the specified length. S/FTP construction offers enhanced protection against alien crosstalk and EMI compared with unshielded or foil-only alternatives, improving signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts resist corrosion and ensure consistent connectivity over repeated plug cycles. The 75 m length reduces the need for intermediate patching when linking distant racks or rooms.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet backbones and high-speed LAN segments
• Data centers, server rooms, and telecommunications cabinets
• Office networks, meeting rooms, and multimedia installations
• Residential installations requiring high bandwidth and reduced interference

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 75 m
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Jacket color: black
• Intended use: Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet networks

How to use

Route the cable along planned pathways, avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference when possible. When terminating, ensure proper grounding of shielded components and maintain the shielding continuity by using compatible shielded RJ-45 jacks or plugs and metal patch panels if required. Verify terminations with a cable tester supporting Cat6a parameters and perform post-installation checks for continuity, pair integrity, and near-end/far-end crosstalk where applicable.

Recommendations

The cable is recommended for installations where enhanced shielding and higher bandwidth are required; for best performance, keep cable runs within standard length limits for Cat6a links, use compatible shielded connectors and maintain proper grounding of all shielded components.
