Netwerkkabel ROLINE 21.15.2607 Grijs 10 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ROLINE 21.15.2607 Grey 10 m Cat6 S/FTP is a shielded Ethernet patch cable designed for reliable wired network connections. The cable supports Cat6 performance and is terminated with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Its S/FTP (shielded with foil around each pair plus an overall braid) construction reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, helping to maintain signal integrity over the 10 m length. The neutral grey jacket suits professional installations in offices, server rooms and home networks.

Advantages

This Cat6 S/FTP cable provides improved protection against external interference compared with unshielded alternatives, delivering stable throughput for data transfer and network services. The RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with standard network equipment. The 10 m length offers flexibility in device placement while avoiding excessive slack. The grey outer jacket is durable and presents a tidy, unobtrusive appearance in visible installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops and network printers to switches or routers
• Wiring between network switches in small server racks or telecommunications cabinets within 10 m
• Home and office wired networks where reduced interference and reliable Gigabit performance are required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (individual pair foil + overall braid)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Length: 10 m
• Colour: Grey
• Typical use: Ethernet LAN connections up to Gigabit and compatible with higher bandwidth requirements within Cat6 limits

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices until the clip clicks into place. For best performance, avoid tight bends and kinks along the cable and do not run the cable parallel and close to sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as power cables or large transformers. When connecting networking equipment in racks or cabinets, route the cable to minimize stress on the connectors and secure with cable management accessories if necessary.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for short to medium-length links where shielding improves signal stability. For permanent installations, ensure connectors are clean and inspect the cable jacket for damage before use; replace if the shielding or jacket is compromised. For maximum performance, pair with equipment rated for Cat6 or higher and avoid exceeding the recommended channel length for Cat6 runs.
