Navilock notebook-slotset zwart 1,8 m sleutelslot

The Navilock Notebook Cable Lock Black 1.8 m Key Lock secures compatible Microsoft Surface devices and other laptops with a matching security slot. The 1.8 m carbon steel cable is protected by plastic shielding, weighs 138 g and is intended to prevent opportunistic theft by allowing the device to be attached to fixed objects.

Advantages

The carbon steel construction provides high cut and theft resistance while the plastic coating protects device surfaces. At 1.8 m length and 138 g weight the cable offers good mobility for use in offices, cafes or public spaces. A swivel joint simplifies positioning and attachment. The mechanism allows locking without the key; the key is required only to unlock.

• Microsoft Surface Pro / Pro2 / Pro3 / Pro4 / Pro5 / Pro6 & Go devices
• Laptops and tablets with a compatible Kensington-style security slot
• Securing devices to tables, chair legs or fixed furniture in shared or public areas

Recommendations

Use the cable on stable, immovable anchor points and avoid fastening to objects that can be lifted. Regularly inspect the cable and lock for damage. The lock provides a deterrent to opportunistic theft but does not make the device theft-proof.
