This InLine® power cable is used to supply power to external power supplies for notebooks and similar devices with an IEC 60320 C5 connection. The three-wire cable with protective contact establishes a safe and standard-compliant connection to the 250V mains supply.
The angled safety plug facilitates installation in confined spaces and supports tidy cable management in workplaces and technical facilities. The moulded plugs provide increased mechanical stability, which is particularly beneficial for frequent reconnection or permanent use.

How to use

Connect the cable's device-end connector to the external power supply (notebook adapter) and plug the mains end into a suitable 250 V wall socket. Ensure the notebook power supply is compatible with a 2.5 A maximum current rating before use. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and tripping hazards.

Recommendations

Inspect the cable and connectors periodically for damage. Do not use the cable if the insulation is cut or the connectors are loose. For devices that draw more than 2.5 A, use an appropriately rated power cord.
