Netwerk-patchkabel LANBERG Cat8 S/FTP (S-STP) RJ-45–RJ-45 grijs 0,5 m

LANBERG PCF8-10CU-0050-S is a 0.5 m Cat8 network patch cable with S/FTP (S-STP) shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. The cable uses 26AWG conductors (7 x 0.16 mm) and has an outer diameter of approximately 6.0 mm ±0.2 mm. It supports data transfer rates up to 40,000 Mbit/s and is supplied in grey colour.

Advantages

The S/FTP (braid plus foil per pair) shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk for stable high-speed transmission. Compact 0.5 m length is suitable for short connections in dense installations. Cat8 specification enables high bandwidth and low latency for server-room and switch-to-switch links. Sturdy RJ-45 connectors ensure reliable mating with standard network equipment.

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network port of a switch, server or network device and the other end to the corresponding port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Use the 0.5 m cable for short point-to-point links; avoid bending the cable beyond its minimum bend radius and do not strain the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance in shielded environments, connect cable shields to grounded ports or patch panels and avoid routing unshielded cables alongside high-power electrical lines. Use short shielded patch cords like this Cat8 cable for dense rack installations and direct device interconnects.
