Netwerk RJ45 poortblokkering ShiverPeaks BS08-01036 — 10 blokkeringen met 1 hoofdsleutel, wit

ShiverPeaks RJ45 port blocker BS08-01036 is a kit containing ten white RJ45 port locks and one master key, created to prevent unauthorized insertion of network cables. The compact blockers fit standard RJ45 Ethernet ports found on switches, routers and wall outlets. They provide a simple physical control to limit access to network interfaces in offices, classrooms, public areas and other shared environments without modifying existing hardware.

Advantages

The port blockers are small, lightweight and made to occupy the RJ45 connector opening securely while remaining removable only with the supplied key. Their neutral white colour blends with typical network panels and faceplates. Installation and removal require no tools and do not damage connectors, allowing temporary or long-term use. Providing a physical barrier helps reduce accidental disconnections, unauthorized network access and casual tampering.

Suitable for

• Securing unused Ethernet ports on network switches and patch panels
• Restricting access to wall outlet network jacks in public spaces and classrooms
• Protecting ports in meeting rooms, reception areas and shared offices
• Temporary lockdown of ports during maintenance, events or when devices are relocated

Key specifications

• Quantity: 10 RJ45 port blockers and 1 master key
• Colour: white
• Compatibility: standard 8P8C (RJ45) Ethernet ports
• Material: durable plastic (non-conductive)
• Installation: tool-free insertion and key-based removal
• Use environment: indoor network equipment and wall outlets

How to use

Insert a blocker into an unused RJ45 port until it seats flush with the jack face; the blocker will latch in place. To remove a blocker, insert the supplied master key into the blocker and pull gently to extract it. Use only the provided key to avoid damaging the blocker or the port. Keep the master key in a controlled location and note which ports are blocked to maintain accurate network access records.

Recommendations

For consistent management, label blocked ports in your patch panel or documentation and store the master key securely. Avoid forcing the blocker into damaged or non-standard connectors. Periodically inspect blockers for wear and replace any that show cracks or deformation to ensure continued protection of network ports.
