Netwerk-videorecorder Axis 02403-002 8 kanalen 2TB zwart

The Axis 02403-002 Network Video Recorder is an 8-channel NVR designed for continuous video surveillance in small to medium installations. It records camera streams at up to 1920 x 1080 resolution and stores footage on the built-in 2 TB hard drive. The unit supports Gigabit Ethernet for camera connectivity and data transfer, provides simultaneous playback of up to 9 channels, and is compatible with Axis network cameras and associated management software. The compact black enclosure houses multiple USB ports and ten RJ-45 Ethernet interfaces to integrate with existing IP camera networks and peripherals.

Advantages

The device combines 8 video inputs with local 2 TB storage, enabling extended retention without immediate external storage. Gigabit Ethernet connectivity ensures sufficient bandwidth for high-definition streams and remote access. Support for simultaneous 9-channel playback simplifies incident review, and multiple USB ports allow direct attachment of backup media or peripherals. The unit’s maximum power consumption of 30 W and broad input voltage range make it suitable for standard server room or cabinet installations.

Suitable for

• Small and medium business surveillance systems
• Retail stores and point-of-sale monitoring
• Office buildings and reception areas
• Parking lots and perimeter monitoring with network cameras
• Sites requiring local storage and multi-channel playback

How to use

Install the Axis 02403-002 NVR in a dry, ventilated location and connect it to a stable AC power source within the 100–240 V range. Use Ethernet cables to connect IP cameras and the local network to the RJ-45 ports. Access the recorder’s management interface via the network using the recommended Axis management software or a supported web browser to configure camera channels, recording schedules, storage settings and user access. Use the USB ports to export footage to external media or to connect compatible peripherals.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, place the NVR on a stable surface or rack with adequate cooling and connect it to an uninterruptible power supply if continuous recording is required. Regularly verify recording schedules and storage capacity on the 2 TB drive, archive critical footage externally if long retention periods are needed, and keep firmware updated using Axis-approved updates to maintain compatibility and security.
