Netwerkcamera Vivotek FE9180-H-V2 5MP binnen-fisheye-dome – 5 MP resolutie, 360°-binnenbeeld

The Vivotek FE9180-H-V2 is a 5MP indoor fisheye network camera that delivers a single-lens 360° panoramic view for wide-area monitoring. Designed for ceiling-mounted installation in indoor environments, the camera captures high-resolution images across an entire room without the need for multiple cameras. Its dome form factor integrates into commercial and public spaces while providing remote network access for live viewing and recording.

Advantages

The camera provides full-room coverage with a single sensor, reducing blind spots and installation complexity. High 5 MP resolution preserves detail across the entire panoramic image, enabling clearer identification and situational awareness. The dome enclosure supports discreet indoor mounting and protects internal optics from dust and accidental contact. Network connectivity enables remote monitoring and integration with standard recording systems and video management software.

Suitable for

• Retail stores and shop floors for customer flow and loss-prevention monitoring
• Office lobbies and reception areas to oversee entrances and communal spaces
• Public indoor areas such as corridors, waiting rooms, and small halls
• Small to medium-size rooms where a single panoramic view simplifies surveillance

Key specifications

• Optical format: fisheye lens providing a 360° panoramic field of view
• Image sensor and resolution: 5 megapixel image capture for high-definition panoramas
• Mounting type: dome, designed for ceiling installation in indoor environments
• Network features: IP-based connectivity for remote live view and recording support
• Form factor: compact dome housing suitable for discreet indoor deployment

How to use

Install the camera on a ceiling or other elevated indoor surface to maximize the 360° coverage of the monitored area. Connect the device to a local network using Ethernet to enable remote viewing and recording; follow the manufacturer’s network configuration steps for IP addressing and security settings. Position the unit centrally in the room for optimal panoramic coverage and adjust mounting height so that the fisheye view encompasses the intended surveillance zone. Integrate the camera with a compatible video management system or network video recorder for continuous recording and event management.

Recommendations

For effective monitoring, mount the camera centrally on ceilings at a recommended height to minimize occlusions and ensure even coverage. Use the 5 MP resolution setting when detail is required for identification or analytic tasks, and configure network security and user access controls before commissioning. When wider scene interpretation is needed, employ dewarping tools in the video management software to generate conventional views from the panoramic image.
