Netwerkcamera Vivotek IB9399-EHTV 8MP 30fps H.265 met 4,3–9,8mm varifocale lens

Vivotek IB9399-EHTV is an 8MP network camera that records up to 30 frames per second using H.265 compression and includes a 4.3–9.8mm varifocal lens for adjustable framing. Designed for indoor and sheltered outdoor environments, this camera provides high-resolution video suitable for environments that require detailed image capture such as retail areas, offices and building entrances. Efficient compression reduces bandwidth and storage requirements while the varifocal lens allows precise adjustment of field of view to match installation needs.

Advantages

The camera combines 8-megapixel resolution with H.265 video compression to deliver clear, detailed images while minimizing bandwidth and storage use. The 4.3–9.8mm varifocal lens enables flexible framing, from wider scenes to more focused close-ups, without changing hardware. The model is built for continuous monitoring at up to 30fps, ensuring smooth motion capture for typical surveillance scenarios. Its design suits both indoor and sheltered outdoor placements where reliable, high-resolution video is required.

Suitable for

• Retail floor monitoring and loss-prevention
• Office space surveillance and access control
• Building entrances, lobbies and sheltered outdoor walkways
• Areas requiring high-detail capture for identification and evidence

Key specifications

• Image sensor: 8-megapixel resolution delivering up to 30 fps
• Video compression: H.265 for efficient bandwidth and storage use
• Lens: 4.3–9.8mm varifocal lens for adjustable field of view
• Frame rate: Up to 30 frames per second at full resolution
• Mounting: Suitable for fixed indoor and sheltered outdoor installations

How to use

Install the camera at the chosen location, secure the mounting bracket per the installation surface, and adjust the lens focal length to achieve the desired field of view. Connect the camera to a PoE-capable network switch or provide appropriate power and network cabling. Configure video settings through the camera’s web interface or compatible VMS to select H.265 compression, set resolution and frame rate, and schedule recording as needed. Perform focus fine-tuning and angle adjustments after powering on to ensure sharp, correctly framed images.

Recommendations

For optimal results, position the camera to minimize direct sunlight or strong backlighting in the scene, use H.265 to reduce network load when continuous recording is required, and select the lens focal length that balances coverage area and subject detail. Regularly verify focus and clean the lens cover to maintain image clarity.
