Netwerkconnector helos RJ-45 M afgeschermd Cat 8.1 voor high-speed ethernetverbindingen

Shielded helos RJ-45 M network connector designed for Cat 8.1 cabling and high-speed Ethernet links. The male RJ-45 interface provides a screened connection that supports the electrical and mechanical requirements of Cat 8.1 installations. This connector is intended for use where electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection and reliable high-frequency signal transmission are required, such as data centers, server rooms and industrial network environments.

Advantages

The connector offers full shielding to maintain signal integrity in environments with significant electrical noise. Its design supports the performance characteristics of Cat 8.1 cabling for frequencies and data rates defined by the category, ensuring compatibility with shielded twisted-pair systems. The male RJ-45 form factor enables straightforward termination of patch cords or fixed cabling and provides a mechanically secure mating with standard RJ-45 sockets.

Suitable for

• Terminating Cat 8.1 shielded patch cords
• Fixed cabling in data centers and server rooms
• Industrial Ethernet installations requiring EMI protection
• High-speed LAN links and backbone connections

Key specifications

• Connector type: male RJ-45
• Shielding: fully screened for EMI reduction
• Category compatibility: Cat 8.1 (shielded twisted pair systems)
• Intended use: high-frequency, high-data-rate Ethernet links
• Mechanical interface: standard RJ-45 mating dimensions

How to use

Prepare the shielded Cat 8.1 cable according to the manufacturer’s termination guidelines, maintaining proper drain wire and foil/braid continuity. Strip the outer sheath to expose the shield and twisted pairs without damaging conductors. Position the cable so the shield makes contact with the connector housing, insert pairs into the designated contacts and complete the termination with the recommended crimping or assembly tool. Verify the shield continuity and perform electrical tests such as certification or link testing to confirm performance.

Recommendations

Use appropriate shielding termination techniques and certified tools when installing this connector. Ensure the cable and connector shielding are electrically bonded to the system ground to achieve the intended EMI protection and Cat 8.1 performance.
