Netwerkcontactdoos ShiverPeaks 74280 Cat.6A 2-poorts

ShiverPeaks 74280 Cat.6A 2‑Port network socket is a dual RJ45 wall outlet designed for structured cabling environments. It delivers Category 6A performance for high‑speed Ethernet, providing two independent network connections in a single, space‑saving module. The socket supports horizontal cable management and is suitable for flush mounting in standard wall boxes, enabling reliable data links for residential and commercial installations.

Advantages

The dual‑port Cat.6A design allows two separate network lines from a single outlet without compromising transmission speed or shielding. The module is engineered for stable gigabit and 10‑gigabit Ethernet applications and minimizes crosstalk between ports. Horizontal cable routing and compact form factor simplify installation in typical flush‑mount boxes and reduce wall space usage. The socket is built to meet structured cabling requirements and to support consistent, low‑latency network performance.

Suitable for

• Residential and multi‑dwelling network points requiring two RJ45 connections
• Office workstations with separate data and VoIP or PC connections
• Multimedia terminals and AV racks needing dual Ethernet feeds
• Structured cabling backbones and patch panels in small commercial sites

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6A performance for high‑speed Ethernet
• Ports: 2 × RJ45 network ports in one module
• Cabling direction: horizontal cable management suitable for flush mounting
• Application: supports gigabit and 10‑gigabit Ethernet applications
• Form factor: compact dual‑port wall socket compatible with standard wall boxes

How to use

Install the ShiverPeaks 74280 into a standard flush wall box following local electrical and cabling regulations. Terminate the incoming Cat.6A twisted‑pair cables to the designated RJ45 IDC or keystone positions according to the T568A or T568B wiring scheme required by your network. Secure the module in the box using the provided fixing points and attach the faceplate. After termination, verify connectivity and performance with a network tester capable of checking Cat.6A or 10G parameters.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use full Cat.6A‑rated patch cables and maintain proper bend radius and separation from power lines. When deploying for 10G Ethernet, verify end‑to‑end Cat.6A compliance across patch panels, patch cords, and sockets to ensure reliable high‑speed links.
