Netwerkdoos ShiverPeaks BS74280-A — 2× RJ-45, Cat6a, antraciet

ShiverPeaks BS74280-A is a wall-mounted socket outlet with two RJ-45 ports designed for Category 6a cabling. Finished in anthracite, the unit provides two independent network connections for high-speed Ethernet links and is intended for structured cabling in homes and offices. The socket supports Cat6a performance for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over suitable cabling and terminates at a compact, single-gang form factor that fits standard wall boxes.

Advantages

The double RJ-45 socket delivers dual network ports in one plate, reducing the need for additional faceplates or adapters. Cat6a compatibility ensures bandwidth for 10 Gbps Ethernet and improved crosstalk performance compared with lower categories. The anthracite finish offers a neutral, modern appearance that integrates with varied interior finishes while the wall-mounted design keeps connections accessible and tidy. The product is supplied as a single unit ready for termination by a qualified installer.

Suitable for

• Structured cabling outlets in residential or commercial premises
• Network points for desktop PCs, IP phones, and access points
• Patch panel terminations where Cat6a performance is required
• Small server rooms or wiring closets needing dual ports at a single location

Key specifications

• Connectors: 2 × RJ-45 ports
• Cabling category: Category 6a (Cat6a)
• Supported data rates: up to 10 Gbps over suitable cabling
• Mounting type: wall-mounted, single-gang compatible
• Color / finish: anthracite
• Typical use: structured cabling outlet for Ethernet networks

How to use

Install the socket into a standard single-gang wall box following local electrical and cabling regulations. Terminate each RJ-45 port to Category 6a cable using the recommended wiring scheme (T568A or T568B) and ensure pair alignment and proper cable shielding if shielded cable is used. After termination, test each port with a network tester certified for Cat6a to verify continuity, pair integrity, and performance up to the desired data rate. Secure the faceplate to the mounting box and connect network devices using standard patch cords.

Recommendations

To achieve expected Cat6a performance, use certified Category 6a cables and maintain proper cable routing, bend radius, and separation from power lines. Have terminations performed or verified by a trained installer and perform post-installation testing to document link performance for 10 Gbps operation.
