RJ-45 modulaire koppelaar ROLINE Cat.6 onafgeschermd zwart

The ROLINE RJ-45 Modular Coupler is an unshielded inline adapter for Cat.6 networks, finished in black plastic. It connects two standard RJ-45 Cat.6 cables with a 1:1 wiring scheme, allowing extension of existing Ethernet runs without changing connectors. The compact coupler is compatible with unshielded twisted-pair Cat.6 cables and fits standard RJ-45 plugs.

Advantages

The coupler provides a straightforward means to extend Cat.6 cables while maintaining the original 1:1 contact mapping. Constructed in durable plastic, it is lightweight and easy to install in patching scenarios. As an unshielded device, it is suitable for environments where Cat.6 UTP cabling is used and where shielding is not required.

Suitable for

• Extending Cat.6 UTP Ethernet cables
• Temporary or permanent joins in network patching
• Residential and office network installations where unshielded cabling is deployed

Key specifications

• Model: ROLINE RJ-45 Modular Coupler (MPN: 21.17.3043)
• Category: Cat.6, unshielded
• Connection: RJ-45 to RJ-45, 8 contacts, 1:1 wiring
• Housing: Plastic, black
• EAN: 7611990173631

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 plug from the Cat.6 cables into the coupler's ports until they click into place. Ensure both cables are Cat.6 unshielded (UTP) to match the coupler's design. Verify the network link and test connectivity after joining cables to confirm proper signal transmission.

Recommendations

Use the coupler indoors in installations with unshielded Cat.6 cabling; avoid environments with high electromagnetic interference where shielded connectors or cables would be required. For best results, minimize physical strain and bends near the connection point and test the extended link with appropriate network testing tools.
