Netwerkkabel DeLOCK 88143 Y-adapter RJ45 naar 2 x RJ45 Cat.6 zwart

The DeLOCK 88143 Y-adapter connects one RJ45 network cable to two RJ45 ports and supports Category 6 (Cat.6) cabling. The adapter is designed for outdoor use and features an IP68-rated connection sleeve that provides protection against dust and water, making it suitable for installations where moisture or dirt exposure is possible. The product is black and intended to simplify splitting a network line while maintaining Cat.6 compatibility.

Advantages

The IP68 dust- and waterproof sleeve increases protection of the RJ45 connections against moisture and contamination. The Y-adapter supports Cat.6 standards and allows one network line to be split into two RJ45 ports. Its compact design and black finish make it easy to integrate into outdoor or garden network setups.

How to use

Insert the RJ45 plug of the incoming Cat.6 cable into the single RJ45 port of the Y-adapter. Connect the outgoing Cat.6 cables to one of the two RJ45 female ports on the adapter. Ensure that only one of the two female ports is used at a time, as the adapter does not support simultaneous operation of both ports. Close and secure the connection sleeve to maintain the IP68 protection level before exposing the adapter to outdoor conditions.

Recommendations

Do not connect two devices simultaneously to the two female RJ45 ports. Use the adapter to split a network line for one active device at a time and ensure the connection sleeve is properly sealed to retain dust- and waterproof protection.
