Netwerkkaart Ugreen 30985 Ethernet bekabeld USB-interface

This Ethernet adapter is intended for use only with Chromecast devices and TV sticks that support Ethernet via a micro USB port (see second photo). It provides a wired network connection through the device's micro USB interface and requires the other end of the Ethernet cable to be connected to a working router with internet access. The adapter's USB connector is for power only and cannot be used as a general USB Ethernet adapter for PCs or laptops.

Advantages

The adapter delivers a stable wired connection for compatible Chromecast and TV stick models that accept Ethernet over micro USB, avoiding wireless interference and offering consistent bandwidth for streaming. Its compact form factor makes it easy to place near a TV or media player while the powered USB connector supplies the necessary power to the device.

Suitable for

• Chromecast models that support Ethernet via micro USB
• TV sticks shown in the second photo that explicitly support Ethernet over micro USB
• Situations where a stable wired connection is preferred over Wi‑Fi for streaming

Key specifications

• Compatibility: Chromecast and specific TV sticks with Ethernet-over-micro-USB support (see second photo)
• Connection types: Ethernet (RJ45) to device micro USB; USB connector for power only
• Not compatible with: Fire Stick Gen 1, Roku Express, Fire HD 10, tablets, cellphones, or as a PC USB Ethernet adapter
• VPN networks: not supported (VPN may significantly reduce network speed)

How to use

Connect an Ethernet cable from a functioning router with internet access to the adapter's RJ45 port. Plug the adapter's micro USB end into the compatible Chromecast or TV stick micro USB port. Connect the adapter's USB plug to a power source (USB wall charger or powered USB port) to supply power to the streaming device. Verify the TV stick or Chromecast recognizes the wired connection in its network settings.

Recommendations

Do not attempt to use this adapter as a USB Ethernet adapter for a PC or laptop; the USB plug is intended only for charging/power. Confirm device compatibility with the second photo and product notes before purchase. Avoid using with networks routed through VPNs, as performance may be reduced.
