Netwerkkabel CBO BlueOptics AA1404032-E6-NT 5 m, zwart

CBO BlueOptics AA1404032-E6-NT 5 m, black is a pre-terminated Ethernet patch cable designed for reliable wired network links between switches, routers, computers and other networked devices. The cable’s fixed 5-metre length is suitable for office desks, server racks and home-network patching where a tidy short-distance connection is required. Its black jacket offers a neutral appearance that integrates into most installations while providing standard protection for the conductors.

Advantages

The cable delivers a ready-to-use connection with consistent electrical performance across its length, reducing installation time compared with on-site termination. The fixed length helps maintain neat cable runs and simplifies inventory management. The black outer sheath resists everyday wear in typical office and home environments and conceals the cable within furniture or rack spaces. The product follows standard Ethernet cable construction to ensure compatibility with common networking equipment.

Suitable for

• Patching between switches and patch panels in small and medium network closets
• Connecting routers, modems and desktop computers in offices or homes
• Short-length links in server racks and telecommunications cabinets
• Replacing or adding tidy, fixed-length Ethernet connections for workstations

Key specifications

• Length: 5 metres
• Colour: black outer sheath
• Cable type: Ethernet patch cable (pre-terminated)
• Connector type: terminated RJ45 connectors (suitable for Ethernet ports)
• Intended use: short-distance data communications and patching

How to use

Connect one end of the cable to the RJ45 port of a network device (switch, router, computer) and the other end to the corresponding port of the target device. Ensure both devices are powered and configured for the intended network settings. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, tight kinks and sources of electromagnetic interference. For rack installations, secure excess cable length to maintain airflow and reduce strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable for short to medium patching runs and avoid running it parallel to high-voltage power lines. Periodically inspect connectors for dirt or damage and replace the cable if the outer sheath or connectors show visible wear. When using in racks or conduit, allow gentle service loops and avoid over-tightening cable management ties that can deform the cable.
