Netwerkkabel DeLOCK 2 m Cat.5e SFTP

The DeLOCK 2m Cat.5e SFTP networking cable is a 2-metre Cat5e-rated cable with S/FTP (S-STP) shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. It is intended to connect network devices such as patch panels, switches and routers, and the angled plug allows space-saving installation in confined areas behind equipment or inside network cabinets.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference for more reliable signal transmission. The Cat.5e specification supports typical Ethernet networking speeds and the RJ-45 connectors ensure broad compatibility with standard network ports. The 2 m length offers flexibility for typical rack or workspace layouts while the angled plug helps when connections are near walls or crowded panels.

Suitable for

• Connecting patch panels to switches
• Linking routers, switches and network appliances
• Installing connections in tight spaces or behind equipment

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat.5e
• Shielding: S/FTP (S-STP)
• Length: 2 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Grey
• Brand: DELOCK, MPN: 83512, EAN: 4043619835126

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port until it clicks. Use the angled plug where vertical clearance is limited to reduce stress on the connector and cable. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and secure it with cable ties or guides as needed to maintain a reliable connection.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines or near strong electromagnetic sources. Replace the cable if the shielding or connectors become damaged.
