Netwerkkabel DeLOCK 81159 RJ-45 Cat6 5 m zwart

The DeLOCK 81159 networking cable is a Cat6 Ethernet cable with a length of 5 m and a black outer jacket. It is equipped with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and uses F/UTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable data transmission for wired network connections.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable provides improved signal integrity compared with lower category cables due to its design and shielding. The F/UTP construction helps minimise external interference, which is beneficial in environments with multiple cables or electronic equipment. With a 5 m length and standard RJ-45 terminations, the cable supports common office and home networking layouts while maintaining a discreet black appearance.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, laptops or network printers to switches or routers
• Wired connections in small office or home network setups
• Replacing or extending existing Ethernet runs where a 5 m length is required
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is desirable

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: F/UTP (foil screened, unshielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the Ethernet port of your device and the other RJ-45 connector to the corresponding port on a router, switch or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until a click is felt to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and avoid running it parallel to power cables for long distances to maintain signal quality.

Recommendations

Use the cable within typical indoor temperature ranges and avoid excessive mechanical stress. For optimal performance, keep the cable untwisted near connector terminations and avoid kinking. If installing in environments with strong electromagnetic sources, consider cable routing or additional shielding measures as needed.
